Successes in ERC "Advanced Grants"

In its election of research leaders for its "Advanced Grants" the European Research Council has selected projects headed by four lab leader members of the Epigenome NoE:
Geneviève Almouzni (Nuclear Dynamics and Genome Plasticity, Institut Curie) Epigenetic Challenges in Centromere Inheritance During the Cell Cycle.
Wendy Bickmore (Chromosomes and Gene Expression, UK Medical Research Council) Determining the Roles of the Nuclear Periphery in Mammalian Genome Function.
Ueli Grossniklaus (Developmental Genetics of Plant Reproduction, Universität Zürich) Mechanisms of Epigenetic Regulation in Development, Evolution and Adaptation.
Edith Heard (Mammalian Developmental Epigenetics, Institut Curie) Epigenetic Regulationand Monoallelic Gene Expression: the X-Inactivation Paradigm and Beyond.
We all heartily congratulate Geneviève, Wendy and Edith (all working in the same Epigenome research work package Assembly and Nuclear Organisation), and Ueli and wish them every success with their new projects.
