Research Focus: Inhibitors of histone modifying enzymes

We work in various areas in the search for new inhibitors of enzymes that covalently modify histones and non-histone peptide substrates. Our research covers inhibitor synthesis and in-vitro assay develoment and high-throughput screening. The target enzymes are histone deacetylases (zinc dependent classes and sirtuins), histone acetyltransferases, histone methyltransferases and demethylases.
