Research Focus: Protein modules which bind to nucleosomes and recognize histone modifications.

Our lab uses a combination of biochemical, molecular biological and bioinformatical approaches to investigate nucleosome-binding protein modules and their recognition of histone modifications. Our primary focus is on PHD fingers and bromodomains. We also participate in the development of ELM, a bioinformatical resource for short linear motifs (see: http://elm.eu.org).
